Obituary

Norman Wall, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Norm was a man of many trades, including, delivering milk as a milkman; selling greeting cards for American Greetings; metal detecting; completing numerous contractor jobs; and of course, installing swimming pools. He always told everyone to, "Be Original" and "not do double work." He also found joy in collecting coins, he poured through piles and loved to sort them and find those special ones. His most sought after coin was the ever "elusive" 1909-S VDB penny. To his grandchildren, he was lovingly known as, "Pampa." He never admitted to growing old, he just said he was growing mature. Norm is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Slane; and Kimberly (Bradley) Boyd; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ellen; and son, Kevin Wall. A private family graveside service will be held. Memorial donations in his name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
