Norman Lee Wolfe, 81, of Angola, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Lakeland Nursing Home. Born in Willshire, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ranza and Bertha (Bailey) Wolfe. He was a member of Fairview Missionary Church in Angola and had sung with a local group singing southern gospel music. Norman had served his country in the Army National Guard. He retired in 1978 from Tuthill Pump as a purchasing agent after 25 years of service. He then owned Angola Pump Company for 19 years, from 1978 to 1995.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie (Doug) Sawyer of Fort Wayne; sons, Roger (Michelle) Wolfe of Lincoln, Neb. and Kevin (Pam) Wolfe of Angola; brothers, Bob and Roy Wolfe; sisters, Jeanie McBride, Lucille Railing, Virginia Higgins and Faye Foreman; nine grandchildren; and one great grandson.
He was preceded by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma Lou Wolfe, on December 27, 2012; brothers, Mel Wolfe, Mert Wolfe and Ed Wolfe.
Funeral Service is Noon, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, with calling one hour prior. He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Fairview Church.
