Octaviano Ramirez Sr., 98 of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Fort Wayne. He was born on August 25, 1927, in Cotella, Texas, the son of Alfredo and Pauline (Rivas) Ramirez.

He was a hard worker throughout his life. He enjoyed Wild Cherry drops, cookies and coffee and enjoyed watching Western Movies. Most of all he enjoyed being at home and spending time with his wife prior to her passing.

He is survived by his children, Connie Boyd, Octaviano (Robin) Ramirez Jr., Sally (Jerome) Richard and Robert (Rick) Ramirez; six grandchildren; Andrea (Rahaman) Mosby, Guadalupe (Marina) Arambula, Tonya Cooper, Richard (Angie) Ramirez, Arthur Deleon and Isaiah Deleon; 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Elvira.

Burial will be at 11:00 am, Friday, January 2, 2025, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, In 46804. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Riley's Children Hospital.
