Opal Leota Wisel, 90, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, October 22, 2012, at New Haven Care & Rehab. Born in Dekalb County, she was the daughter to the late Tony and Margaret (Bogner) Runion.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Wisel of Fort Wayne; brother, Norman Runion, Sr. of Garrett; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth L. Wisel, in 2010; brothers, Everett, Adrian and Tony, Jr. Runion.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to Heartland Hospice, 1315 Directors Row, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808.
