Ora G. Smith, 78, of Arcola, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

She was born on August 31, 1947, in Tennessee. Ora married the love of her life, Flavel Smith, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2020.

Ora worked for many years as an assembler at I.T.T. She found joy in traveling to West Virginia, cooking, and watching her favorite soap operas. Known for her kind heart, Ora treated everyone she met with warmth and respect.

She is survived by her grandson, Kayden Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Flavel, and her son, Kyle Miller.

In keeping with Ora's wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Covington Memorial Gardens.
