Patricia L. Dunn, 90, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, June 9, 2018.  She was born on October 31, 1927 in Fort Wayne, to the late William and Dorothy Stanger.  Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 1946 graduate of Central Catholic.  She was an advertising manager of the Sears Roebuck & Co in Ft. Wayne, T.V. & Phone lady at Lutheran Hospital on Fairfield, also a volunteer at the new Lutheran Hospital for 19 years.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and was an avid reader.  Patricia was a member of Ft. Wayne Figure Skating Club.  Her passions were her family and being at the Blue Lake cottage, and playing euchre. She never complained and never talked bad about anyone.  She is the "Best Mom in the World" and an awesome listener.

Surviving are her children, Gregory Dunn, Randall (Cheryl) Dunn, Ronald (Dee Fletcher) Dunn, Diane (Danny) Reed, Suellen (Dwane) Spurgeon; grandchildren, Ralph Michael Dunn, Christopher (Jennifer) Dunn, Laura Dunn, Alicia (Timothy) Heacock, Andrew (Patty Eykholt) Dunn, Andrea Dunn, John Reed, Janeen (Andrew) Grim and Olivia Reed, Taylor (Jeff) Retter, Alex, Casey and Blake Spurgeon; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; special neighbors, Ruth Madru and Jane Carmer and the late Betty Gfell.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Dunn, in 1998; daughter, Patrice Dunn; and son, Ralph William Dunn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave. Ft. Wayne, with viewing one hour prior to mass.  There is also viewing Thursday June 14, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Preferred memorial are to Masses or American Heart Assoc.
