Obituary

Paul Eugene Bower, 88, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at home. Born in Arkon, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles and Mabel (Humphrey) Bower. The WW11 Navy veteran retired from Transport Motor Express as a truck driver after 30 years of service. He was an avid I.U. fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Etta Bower; children, Stephen (Patsy) of Columbia, South Carolina, Steve (Patricia) Ingram of Valparaiso, Vernon (Pam) Ingram of Fort Wayne, Rob (Pam) Bower of Fort Wayne, Gail (Randy) King of Columbia City and Karen Burnside of New Haven; 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and his little love, Ginger the dog.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Bower; two sisters, Norma Kile and Dee Baldin; and a great granddaughter.
He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.
