Paul Eugene Lewis, 85, of Leo passed peacefully, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at home with his family at his side.  Born in Fort Wayne, he was an only child to the late, Charles Lewis and Arnolda (Bickel) Lewis.  Paul was a general contractor in the Allen County Area working on many of the Fort Wayne Buildings and was a concrete worker.    He recently had worked Ben Schmucker Construction.  Paul was a self taught pilot, learning to fly a Piper Cub around his father's farm.  He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, and cookouts.  He traveled back and forth to Florida where he lived for a while.

Paul is survived by wife of 23 years, Carol (Goings) Lewis of Leo; son, Charles Lewis of Fort Wayne; step daughter, Robin (John) Stuckman of Orland; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his latest furry friend, Missy.

Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Imogene Catherine Lewis, in 1993; step daughter, Nancy Jo Banks; and step son, Donald Banks.

Funeral Service is 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road.  Officiating will be Chaplain Karen Kosburg.  He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Memorials are to Carol.

The Lewis would like to personally than The Schmucker family for all they have done for Paul and his family.
