Paul L. Fowler 69 died Monday July 11, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Born July 28, 1941 in Ft. Wayne, Paul retired from International Harvester in 1995 after 33 years service. Paul also was boxing coach for the Summit city Destroyers for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Valerie Fowler, children, Lori (Larry Hutson) Pliett, Lisa (Ken Creech) Dyer, Leslie (Michelle)Fowler, brother, Lynn (Darlene) Fowler, 6 grandchildren, Jeff (Samantha) Dyer, Mike Dyer, Randy Graham, Matthew (Samantha) Pliett, Crystian Pliett, Michaela Fowler and 4 great-grandchildren Carter, Annessa and Nevaeh Dyer, Noah Graham, and Baby Pliett in December. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday July 16, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Jo Jo Rashawans officiating.
