Paul W. Hamrick, 83, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Heritage Park. He was born in Spartanburg, S.C., son of the late, Clyde and Sally Hamrick. Paul was a truck driver all his life, and then in his retirement he and his wife had moved out to Lake Mead, Nevada. He was also an avid Nascar fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Mike (Kathy) Hamrick, Terry (Fawn) Hamrick, daughters, Paula Johnson, Becky (Leo) King, Susan (Troy Woods) Mast, son-in laws Kevin Scherer and Kevin Crouch, 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Rose M. Hamrick, on October 18, 2013; daughters, Debbie Crouch and Cindy Scherer; grandson, Joey Stump; brothers, Jim and Max Hamrick and a sister, Pat Burkett.

Service will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There will also be calling 4-8 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Alzheimer''s Association of N.E. Indiana.
