Paul C. Saylor, 88, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015. He was born May 9, 1927 in Fort Wayne to the late John C. and Hattie Saylor-Miller. Paul retired after 32 years from Dana Corporation as a linesman. Being of native American heritage ( grandmother raised on Cherokee Reservation) he believed in never taking more than you need and always leaving the world a little better than you found it. Paul was a beloved husband, father, Papa, Great Papa and Great Great Papa.

Surviving are his children, Sharel (Skip) Kirchgassner, Steven (Kathy) Saylor, Denise (Doug) Brown and Gary (Amy) Saylor. 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Dora of 57 years, a brother and 3 sisters.

Services will be Thursday June 4, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home at 8408 Covington Rd. Viewing will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens the following day.
