Paul Robert Trammel, 74, Ft. Wayne formerly of Columbia City, passed away Friday October 26, 2018.  He was born on December 9, 1943 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Donald and Marjorie Trammel.  Paul retired from Consolidated Freight after 31 years as a truck driver for local union 414.  He was a member of American Legion 160 Roanoke and 40 & 8 Voiture 850 Huntington.  Paul's passions were fishing, golfing, and work in the yard but mostly spending time with family.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years Sharon Trammel; children, Gregory S. (Rebecca Pyle) Trammel, Dawn M. Trammel; siblings,   Diane Haines, Kathleen (Ed) Wilsey; 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Paul was preceded in death by his twin brother Charles and brother Donald Trammel.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday November 9, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.  Inurnment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Preferred memorials are to 40&8 Nurses Training in C/O American Legion Post 160. www.covingtonmemorial.com
