Paul Weilder, 92, of Valparaiso, died on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at VNA Hospice Center. Born in Decatur, on April 22, 1922. Paul and his identical twin brother, Wilfred, married identical twin sisters. They lived as a combined family with the five children between them.

Paul is survived by his children, Sandra (Dennis) Malott of Fort Wayne and Theresa (Walter) Stepanko of Valparaiso; siblings, twin brother, Wilfred (and the late, Ernestine) Weilder of Valparaiso, Donald (Ann) of Decatur, Mary Emma (Stan) Lyons of Gas City and Anna Laura (Richard) Hirschey of Berne; three grandchildren, Courtney (Heather) Malott, Kristie (Kris) Knight and Scott (Jody) Burnworth; eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Ernesta Weilder, on June 2, 2011; and his siblings, Arnold, Rudolph and Leona Stanley.

Graveside Memorial Service is NOON, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Covington Memorial Gardens.
