Peggy M. Dager 88, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday Oct. 20 at her home. She was a 1940 graduate of Central High School. She worked at G. E. during WWII and after 40 years of raising her 6 children she retired in 1987 from North American Van Lines after 10 years service. She married Clarence John Dager Jr."Blackie" on August 29, 1942. She was an avid sports fan. She attended St. Joe Community Church. "Most of all a loving Mother" Surviving are sons, Steven John Sr. (Pam) Dager, Ft. Wayne, IN, Daniel Theodore Dager, Washington, D.C. daughters, Judith Ann (Don) Lawrence, Peggy Elaine Geisleman, Susan Alice (Richard) Motz, Patricia Ruth (Dave) Tyler, all of Ft. Wayne, IN, 15 grandchildren, 38, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. C.J. Dager Jr., July 1998, father, Theodore Sonday, January 1923, mother, Ruth Sonday Sroufe, December 2000. Services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Greg Byman officiating. There is also calling Sunday, Oct. 24, 2-4 6-8 at the funeral home. Preferred Memorials to St. Joe Community Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
