Phil A. Roberson, 92, passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2013. He was born in Noble county, IN on July 21, 1921 to the late Parker and Viva Roberson. He was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 296 and a Navy veteran of WWII. Phil retired from G.E. after 43 plus years of service.

Surviving are his son, Raymond (Judy) Roberson, Houston, TX, daughters, Peggy (Thomas) Metzger, Janis (Alan) Neuenschwander, Fort Wayne, IN Diane (Kyle) Gott, Austin, TX, and a brother, Rex Roberson, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Roberson in 2012, grandson Ryan Roberson in 2005, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Service will be 12 Noon Monday October 28, 2013 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There will also be calling Sunday October 27, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to the Wounded Warrior''s Project.
