Philip L. Pavely, 68 passed away Wednesday December 17, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital. He had served for the Ohio National Guard. Philip is survived by his daughter Marlena (Randy) Engstrom of Knoxville, TN; son Philip G. (Jennifer) Pavely of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandchildren Jonah, Mason, and Addison; friend Judy Pavely; brothers Mark (Barbara) and Jay (Donna) Pavely; brother-in-law Jack Goldstone; local nieces Amy, Dana, and Melanie; local nephew Adam; and a host of other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Marion, brother David, and sister Patricia Goldstone. Private family services were held. Memorial donations can be made to Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control or National Parkinson Foundation.
