Philip Wayne Stettler, 91, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Oasis Pavilion in Arizona. Born February 19, 1920, in Lagrange, Indiana he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Stettler. He retired from Conrail Rail Road as a Conductor. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son, Chad A. (Jill) Stettler of Driggs, Idaho; daughter, Rita J. (Olin) Neuenschwander of Parker, Colorado; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was sadly preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Betty A. Stettler, in 2007.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
