Prameela Apuri, 77, passed away May 28, 2021. Born to Late Raghavendra Rao Arekapudi and Chandramma (Lingam) of Angaluru near Gudivada. She finished her post graduation in History from Osmania University in 1965. She worked in State Bank of India from 1965 till 1990 and retired as a branch Manager. She moved to United States in 1990 and volunteered in various organizations including TANA. She Retired from City of Chicago in 2017.

She is survived by her husband Harinath Apuri, brothers, Bapu Arekapudi, Sarwagna Chowdary, Sister Indira, Children, Bhaktavatsala of Fort Wayne, Daughter Veera of Lemont and Grand children,  Sameera and Vivek.

Visitation will be Sunday, June,  6th  2021  between 12 noon and 3 p.m.  at Covington memorial funeral home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804
