Randal (Randy) A. Rhoades, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully in Stillwater Hospice Care on June 2, 2022. He was born on April 15, 1951, in Fort Wayne. He was baptized in Faith Lutheran Church, graduated from South Side High School in 1970 where he was a star athlete for football, and a member of the 1968 State Championship Track and Field Team. Shortly after high school Randy enlisted in the Us Air Force and served in Clovis, New Mexico, as a patient care assistant. Randy is survived by his daughter, Abbie (Nate) Glackin; their children, Quintin, Layne, Evelyn of Fort Wayne; son, Spencer (Sarah) Rhoades; their children, Korbin and Greysen of Fort Wayne; daughter, Allison LaFratta of Fort Wayne; her daughter Lillian; sister, Beverly "Beve" (Rhoades) (Thomas) Cincotta of Baltimore; his sisters three children and their eight grandchildren; and ex-wife, Julie Nagy Rhoades of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sallie A. (Smith) Rhoades in 1989; and father, Richard A. Rhoades in 1998.
