Raymond “Lee” Fritz, 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on October 13, 1951, to Pete Fritz and Mary (Smith) Wise in Angola, Indiana.

Lee served in the United States Air Force where he retired from in the 1970’s. He married Nancy Hamman on December 16, 1986. She preceded him in death in 2019, after more than thirty years of marriage.

Lee greatly enjoyed old westerns. He especially loved playing cards with his sisters, and they played euchre all the time.

Lee is survived by his sisters, Dawn Beam and Cathy (Konstantin) Budowski; brother, Rick Fritz; and 7 nieces and 9 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; sisters, Linda Miller and Loretta Hawkins; and brothers, Bruce Fritz, Arthur Wise, and James Fritz.
