Richard Lee Claycomb, 67, died Sunday, February 28, 2016. He was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Francis Milton and Elnora Marie (Platt) Claycomb. He proudly served his country in the Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Richard was a retired steel worker.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Olga (Ortiz) Claycomb; daughter, Elnora Claycomb of Fort Wayne; two sons, Richard (Tina) Claycomb Fort Wayne and Steven (Lyndsay) Claycomb of Huntertown; brother, John (Bonnie) Claycomb of Canyon Lake, Texas; and 11 grandchildren, Matt, Emillie, Alanah, Richard, Robert, Levigne, Adeline, Evan, Gracie, Ethan and Cameron.

Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Fr. Jacob Meyer will be officiating. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, family will be reciting the Rosary at 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
