Richard Emil Fahlsing, died Thursday May 3, 2081 at home.  He was born April 28, 1935 a son to the late, Emil and Esther (Kohlmeier) Fahlsing.  Richard was a CPA and owner of Fahlsing Accountancy Corp for 31 years. He was a Long time member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, active in many of the churches ministries and dartball team.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Shirley D. (Sprunger) Fahlsing; daughters, Gloria Fahlsing of Vassar, Michigan and Karen (Dan) Clendenen of Fort Wayne; sons, Michael (Jennifer) Fahlsing of Huntington and Mark (Shannon) Fahlsing of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Fahlsing) Stigall, MaryLou (Fahlsing) Thur and Elaine (Fahlsing) Welty; brother, Ray (Francie) Fahlsing; and special canine companion, Holly.

Preceded in death by step mother, Elsie (Loechner) Fahlsing; and siblings, William Fahlsing, Theodore Fahlsing, and Suzan (Fahlsing) Breaz; and one great-granddaughter.

Memorial Service 2 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2018 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road. Viewing is from 2-6 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road.
