Obituary

Richard Neal Hatch, 81, died Friday December 30, 2011 at the Parkview Noble Hospital. Born January 13, 1930 in Allen County to the late Raymond and Bernice Hatch, Richard was a locksmith and carpenter for the Fort Wayne Community Schools. He was an Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post #82 and the I.O.O.F. Surviving are his wife, Carol Hatch, children, Cheri Hatch, Denise (Randy) Garman, Gene (Rose) Hatch, Jeff (Kelly) Hatch, Jeannette Montgomery, Cindy (Brent) Shike, Dale (Dorothy) Nichols, siblings, Jeannine (Dean) Armstrong, Betty (Ray) Didion, sister-in-laws, Shirley Pierce and Ruth Hatch, 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his first wife Kathryn in 1980, brothers, Robert and Gene Hatch. Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 4, 2011 at the North Highlands Church of Christ 1414 Archer Ave. with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There is also calling 4-8 p.m. Tuesday January 3, 2011 at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred Memorials to the Church.
