Richard I. "Bud" Pinkerton, 94, of North Manchester, IN, passed away on November 9, 2024, He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 16, 1930, a son of the late Lloyd and Rosa Pinkerton. He was a co-owner of C&P Machine Shop in Fort Wayne. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, bowling and golfing. He married Lois in 1949 and spent 70 years of marriage together before her passing. He is survived by children, Dan (Anne) Pinkerton, Karen (Brian) Simmons, Thom Pinkerton, and Tim (Renee) Pinkerton; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Matt Pinkerton; and brother, Gene Pinkerton. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on December 6, 2024, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804, immediately following a celebration of life will be held until 3 pm at Summit Grill, 6525 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Services entrusted to Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
