Richard "Rick" L. Brandenburg, 76, of Ft. Wayne passed away May 19, 2022.  He was born October 13, 1945 in Ft. Wayne to the late Woodrow and Mary (Connett) Brandenburg.

Rick was the Owner/Operator of Rick's Sewer Services in Fort Wayne for 53 years and served many families over those years.  He married his wife, Kim, on January 15, 2000.  Rick was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed gambling at casinos and visiting dog tracks and horse racing.  To keep his mind sharp, he was always working on sudoku puzzles.  Above all, Rick loved his work and providing for his family.  He spent time with his family as often as he could, traveling with Kim and doing life together.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Rick will be forever remembered by his wife, Kim; children, Dawn (Brad) Casalini, Jeff Brandenburg, and Cory (Christine) Brandenburg; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Howell, Donald Brandenburg, Ronald Brandenburg, and Darrel Brandenburg; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Brandenburg.

Family will receive friends Thursday, May 26 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be Friday, May 27 at 11:00am at Covington Memorial Garden.
