Richard Dale Sherrill was born in Sycamore Illinois on September 28,1954 to Forrest and Mildred Sherrill. He moved to Fort Wayne Indiana in his teens where he lived ever since. Richard's passions included his family, Chicago sports and blues music. He worked at Petroleum Traders for 18 years. Known to have a very big heart, he also had a laugh that could fill a stadium. Besides his own sons being born, Richard felt no greater joy than the birth of his granddaughter. He leaves behind two sons Andrew and Eric (Krista), two brothers Stephen (Marlene) and David (Tracy), two sisters Anola Jean (Russ) Kettwig and Pamela (James) Moore and one granddaughter Brooklyn Renee.
