Ricky Lynn Martin, 66, died Monday April 1, 2019.  He was born on December 25, 1952 in North Manchester, IN to Donna and the late Rex Martin.  Ricky served for two years with the Waukegan, IL Police Dept. before transferring to the North Manchester Police Dept. where he served for 19 years where he retired as patrol sergeant, and for 18 years he was I.T. Tech for A.A.D.P.  He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and a veteran of the United States Navy.  He worked part-time at Krogers as a butcher and a valet at the V.A. hospital.

On September 19, 2000 he married Victoria Martin she survives.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Jackie Martin who died July 30, 1995.  Surviving are his children, Daniel (Crystal) Martin, Katie Martin, 5 grandchildren he dearly loved, mother, Donna Martin, brother, Jeff (Elaine) Martin.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing from 11:00 – 1:00.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
