Rita Kay Stoffer, 67, surrounded by her family went to meet her Heavenly Father Saturday May 17, 2014. She was born November 19, 1946 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Basil and Lilly Pearson. Rita was Assistant Plant Manager at Genova Products for 35 years retiring in 2012. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, IN and Ft. Wayne Central High School Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Surviving are her children, Jerry Lytle Jr., Jeff (Joyce) Lytle, Angie (Randy) Brumbaugh, siblings, Pat (Don) Porter, Barbara Aurand, Phil (Kathy) Pearson, grandchildren, Ashley, Kenny II, Dylan, Kenzie, Allie, Isaiah and great-grandchildren, Amya, Landen, Kyra, Dominic, Kenny III. Rita was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry Lytle, siblings, Mike (Bonnie) Pearson and Steve Pearson.

Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 21, 2014 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Scott Zeckzor officiating. There is also calling Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred Memorials to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
