Rita Reed, 94, Sun City, Arizona, passed away, December 15, 2020.  Rita was the daughter of Claude and Helen Vredenburg. They preceded her in death.   She married Howard Reed on November 2, 1945. They were happily married for 66 years. Rita retired from Farnsworth (ITT) She enjoyed crocheting and needlework.

She is survived by her son, William (Eileen) Reed, Garland, Texas, Sisters, Donna (Dick) Romanowski, Glendale, Arizona, Marguerite "Honey" Norris, Sun City, Arizona, nieces, Ruth Wiegmann, Carol Lewis, both of Ft. Wayne, IN, Nancy (Dan) Hedges, Lagrange, IN and a host of many others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Reed, sisters, Margaret Klopfenstein, Dorothy Grigg, Pat Dehne and Betty Page, and Brother, Bob Vredenburg.

Graveside service is April 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  Covington Memorial Gardens 8408 Covington Road, Pastor Phyllis Wiegmann officiating.
