Robbie Jean Jones, 74 died Tuesday, October 30, 2018.  She was born on November 1, 1943 to the late Judge and Betty Jean (Dunson) Jones.  She accepted Christ at an early age in Uniontown Alabama at the Woodlawn Baptist Church. She joined Greater Mount Ararat Church under the leadership of Pastor Ernest K. Starks and remained a member until her passing.  Robbie worked in house keeping for Lutheran Life Village and also ran a private child sitting service in people's home.  The family of Robbie J Jones acknowledges with sincere appreciation every expression of sympathy and every act of kindness shown to them during the illness and passing of their loved one.

Surviving is a sister Elizabeth Courtland a devoted nieces, Shirley Jones, Betty Courtland, Linda Jones and nephews, Andre Jones, Kavin Courtland, Keith Courtland and Martin Jones.  She was preceded in death by a brother Alonzo Jones and a sister Ella Mae Brown-Mullens a nephew Glenn Jones.

Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 12:00 p.m. until service time.

Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
