Robert Eston Poore, 90 died at his home Tuesday June 21, 2016. Robert was born in Sparta, TN on August 7, 1925 to the late Robert L. and Sophia (Dodson) Poore. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Robert retired from General Motors after 25 years in the Test Department.

Surviving is his granddaughter Donna (James) Teeple and grandson James Teeple. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Poore in 2008 and his daughter Betty Ruth Poore in 1991.

Honoring Robert''s wishes there will be no viewing or services. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
