Robert A. Boehme, 80, died Tuesday December 18, 2012 at his home. He was born June 15, 1932 in Loyal Hanna, Pennsylvania, the late Albert and Anna (Kubat) Boehme. He worked 39 years for Dana Corporation as a Leadman. He was very proud of his German heritage. Robert served in the Navy as a machinist during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion 241 and V.F.W. 1421.

Surviving are his children, Bruce (April) Boehme and Roberta Kay (AJ) Paisley; sister, Loretta (Wayne) Hook; 7 grandchildren ;and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. (Lewis) Boehme, in 1999, daughter, Susan M Barnwell; and two brothers, Roderick and Eugene.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please donate to Homes for troops (www.homesfortroops.org).
