Robert Lynn Booher, 68, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at home. Bob proudly served his country in the Army 101st Airborne as a paratrooper during Vietnam; he was a Purple Heart recipient. Robert retired from Dana as a computer analyst. He attended Anthony Wayne Church of God.

Robert is survived by his children, Ryan Booher of Carmel and Jazzmin (Troy) Vegeler of Bloomington; mother, Betty J. Booher of Fort Wayne; sister, Diane (John) Scranton; and four sweet grandchildren, Collin, Owen, Elwyn and Arwyn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ane Booher, in 2008; and father, Loren F. Booher, in 2014.

Memorial service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. Pastor Jerry Blanchard will be officiating. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the family.
