Robert Donald Britton, Jr., 72, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Visiting Nurse. Born in Wiconisco, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Robert, Sr. and Laura (Noble) Britton. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at American Hoist & Derrick of Fort Wayne and then retired from Hydro Aire in Chicago. Bob liked to work in his yard, ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and attend TinCaps games. He was also an avid IU basketball and Colts football fan.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marie (Rogers) Britton; daughters, Laura Britton and Rose Britton both of Fort Wayne; son, William Britton of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Sarah Britton; and sister, Dorothy (Larry) Steffen of Fort Wayne.

There will be no calling or services. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to Visiting Nurse, 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
