Robert G. Day, 93, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at home. He served his country during WWII in the Navy in the USS Lapon. He was retired from the State Highway Department after 30 years of service and the did land surveying for over 20 years. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #82, V.F.W., Elks Lodge and Masons. He enjoyed scuba diving, flying his Cessna, skiing, golfing and ballroom dancing with his wife of 29 years, Noriko. Per Robert''s request there will be no services or calling.
