Robert Lee Fahl, 96, passed away on October 13, 2024. He was born in Kendallville, IN on August 17, 1928, a son of the late Ralph Fahl and Olive McCoy.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. He worked at BF Goodrich for 31 years before his retirement. He also worked at the Coliseum as an usher and ticket taker. He was a member of KWVA, American Legion Post 330 and Blackhawk Ministries where he served as a greeter for decades. No matter where he was or what he did, he truly was a lifelong servant.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joyce Fahl; children, Vicki (Randall) Bertsch, Robert "Kent" (Rebecca) Fahl and Brian (Angie) Fahl; grandchildren, Julie (John) LeMaster, Nathan (Jenalyn) Bertsch, Erica (David) Stone, Ashton (Derek) Helgeson, Felicia (Jordan) Siewert, Rachel (Justin) Szucsits, and Rob Fahl; great-grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, Joshua, Ryland, Makynzie, Sophie, Aurora, Felicity, Serennity, Paisley, and Braylee. Also survived by children, Cathy (Steve) Merz, Greg Chaffin; grandchildren, Jeff (Stacie) Merz, Caitie (Bruno) Jones, Molly (Jason) Smeathers, Annie (Trey) Phillips; great-grandchildren, Emmeline, Cole, Elon, Rowan, and Sorenne.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Fahl; and brother, Ralph Fahl.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 with calling one hour prior at Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46815.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 18th, 2024  at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804.

Burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
