Robert Wayne Hamilton, 75, died on Sunday April 17, 2016 at home. Born in Fort Wayne he was the son to the late Clem and Estella (Shriner) Hamilton. He graduated from Elmhurst High School. Bob was active in the Army National Guard and retired from Slater Steel after 36 years of service. He was a member of Waynedale Baptist Church and had recently attended Coventry Baptist Church.

He is survived by his devoted 52 years, Tymme Sue (Ramey) Hamilton of Fort Wayne; daughters, Lynn (Kevin) Stansberry of Zephyrhills, Fla., Donna Hamilton and Brenda (Tim) Geiger both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Zachary, Eric and Lauren; brothers, Don and Dale Hamilton; and one sister Marilyn Orr.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin; sister, Joann Hamilton; and sister in law, Rosemary Ramey.

Funeral Service is 1;00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. John Blair. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Coventry Baptist Church.
