Robert R. Hilligoss, 88, Columbia City, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008. Robert was born on May 10, 1919 and was married to his wife of 70 years, Betty (Ulrey) Hilligoss. He is also survived by his daughters Peggy (Terry) Krider of Decatur, and Deb (Mike) Roy of Columbia City, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother Max Hilligoss, and sister Miriam Rice. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dorothy (Marshall) Hilligoss, son Ronald, and two grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10:30a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington RD. Visitation will be Thur. from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Columbia City Church of the Brethren Building Fund.
