Robert C. "Hollywood" Payton 64 died Friday, February 11 2011, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born to the late William Payton and Adeline (Smith) Payton in Ft. Wayne. He was a machinist at Zollners for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Robert, along with Rosemary, avidly toured the U.S. on the motorcycle. He is survived by his wife Rosemary Payton, Ft. Wayne, daughters, Alissa (Eric) Danalds, Temple, GA, Sharry (Jim) Pebley Antwerp, OH, Janeen (Tim) Wuwert, Noblesville, IN, step-son, Dale Haiflich, Auburn, IN, brother, Ed Payton, Jonesboro, AK, sister, Donna Grover, Ft. Wayne, IN grandchildren, Shaun, Andrea, Katherine, Katelyn, Katie-Jane and great-grandchildren, Summer and Jaden. He was preceded in death by a son, Charlton "Obie" Payton, brother, Ken Payton and sister Bonnie Payton. By Roberts request there will be no calling or services.
