Robert "Bob" Isaacs, 79, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2007 at St. Joe Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1927 in Bristol, West Virginia to the late William and Lucille (Crosswaite) Isaacs.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jacklyn Isaacs, two sons, Bradley (Julia) Isaacs of Tucson, AZ, Blake (Marla) Isaacs of Greenwood, IN, two daughters, Kristi (Mike) Beard of Jupiter, FL, Stacey ( Glenn) Johnson of Ft Wayne, a step son, John Dunn, a step daughter Tammi (Rob) Ewing both of Ft Wayne, nine grand children and 1 great grand child. He is also survived by a brother, Lloyd (Carole) Isaacs of Littleton, CO.
Bob was a member of the Saint Joseph United Methodist Church,the Jaycees and a retiree of International Harvester. He graduated from Evansville Central and was a member of the 1947 State basketball championship team. Bob went on to play semi-pro basketball for Funk Houser Post.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Saint Joseph United Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Road, Fort Wayne. Covington Memorial Funeral home is handling arrangements.
