Robert "Bob" L. Lapp, 80, of Fort Wayne, a WW II Navy veteran, died Wednesday October 25, 2006 at his residence. Born in Peru, IN, he was a salesman for Rice Oldsmobile and was a custodial Engineer for Fort Wayne Community Schools for 20 years. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 499, Cub Scouts of America, Fort Wayne Little League and was an usher at Emmaus Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Norma "Jean" Lapp; a son, David (Fe) L. Lapp of Crystal Lake, IL; daughters, Debra (Mike) Oetting, of Ossian and Pamela (Steve) Ambriole of Roanoke; brother, Ronald (Cheryl) Lapp Jr. of LaOtto; grandchildren, Ben Oetting, Joel Bultemeier, Scott Oetting, Daniel Lapp, Jacqueline Lapp, Jessica Ambriole and Jacob Ambriole. Services 11 a.m. Saturday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling one hour prior. Calling also 4-6 & 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
