Robert Perez, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away at Lutheran Hospital January 16, 2022.  He was born August 7, 1948 in Sunnyside, Washington to the late Andres and Gladys (Williams) Perez.
Robert was a hard working man, making his living as a truck owner/operator.  He married his beautiful wife, Susie (Gonzalez) on September 25, 1965 and spent 56 wonderful years together and raised five children.  When Robert wasn't driving he enjoyed watching action movies and boxing.  He loved to feed people and would use anything as an excuse to have family over for cookouts.  Robert had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back for others.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Robert will be forever remembered by his wife, Susie; children Robert Jr., Rafael, Manuel, and Candy; grandchildren, Melanie, Allysia, Alexis, Mario, Tony, Michael Jr., Imani, Manuel Jr., Juliano, Janeimy, Jade, Rico, Miguel, Jackelyn; siblings,  Andres, Elvira, Lupe, Antonio, Ruben, and Luis; and his Mother Gladys.
In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in passing by his son Michael, his grandson Robert, his grandson Benito, and his sister Irma.
