Robert Roy Scoles, 78, of Ft. Wayne passed away peacefully Thursday June 4, 2009 at Hospice Home. He married Mary Jane Sheron whom he lovingly cared for until she preceded him in death. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1951, during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the City of Ft. Wayne Parks Dept. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, crosswords, and spending time with his friends at American Legion Post # 82. His kind and gentle ways will be greatly missed by his loving friends and family. He is survived by his loving sister Mary Scoles, five sons, Daniel Scoles, Ronald Sheron and his wife Effie, William Sheron and his wife Natalie, Steven Sheron and his wife Mary Ann, David Sheron and his wife Paula, three daughters, Rebecca Coolman, Genevieve Treace and her husband Steven, and Rebecca Menzie. Funeral Services will be at Covington Memorial Funeral Home Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 1:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service.
