Robert E. Tigner, 72, of North Webster, died Tuesday March 6, 2007 at home. He retired from the local 232 Carpenters Union and served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elnore Tigner of North Webster; daughters, Debra (Ron) Mudrack of Fort Wayne and Brenda (Bob) Wolfe of Syracuse; sons, Allen (Sheila) Tigner of Fort Wayne, Larry Tigner of Fort Wayne , John (Debi) Tigner of Churubusco and Ty (Carolyn) Tigner of Markle; sisters, Helen Wilson and Marilyn Houser both of Fort Wayne and Roberta Jackson of Saginaw, MI; 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Tigner; a son, Robert Tigner Jr.; a grandson, Scott Mudrack and two brothers. Services 11 a.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials to the family.
