Roberta V. Poppele, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday June 14, 2008 at Golden Years Homestead. She was born July 18, 1917 in Kendallville. Survivors include her son, David (Connie) Poppele of Woodburn; grandchildren, Christopher (Ruth) Poppele and Deborah (John) Kroterfield; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dick and a son Jack. Private family services. Arrangements by Covington Memorial Funeral Home Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens
