Rodger Howard Funk, 82, passed Friday, August 10, 2018.  Born in Fort Wayne he was a son to the late, Howard Nicholas Funk and Pauline Cecil (Hubartt) Funk.  He retired from Zollner Corp after 30 plus years of service and was a member of the Fairview Missionary Church, in Angola.  Rodger enjoyed fishing and boating.  He was an avid Trine University Sports Fan.  Rodger a devoted husband to Mary Ann was always there by her side.

Rodger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann (Cook) Funk; children, Timothy (Jill) Funk of Indianapolis and Pamela (Richard) Vance of Fort Wayne ; sister, Juanita (and the late, Garland) Boyd of Ossian; and four grandchildren, Brandon (Lecia) Vance, Shannon (Spencer) Rozek, Hannah Funk and Noah Funk.

Funeral service is 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., with calling two hours prior.  Officiating will be Pastor Norm Fuller.  He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Preferred memorials are to Project Help, 711 East Harcourt Road, Angola, Indiana  46703.
