Roger J. Bade, 83, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Life Care Center of Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Roger was a son to the late Norman Edward and Constance M. (Miller) Bade. He married Wanda Yoder on January 6, 1962 and she preceded him in death on March 15, 2021. Roger was a graduate of New Haven High School and served honorably in the United States Army. He had a fun spirit and enjoyed playing video games, golf, tennis, disc golf, flying drones and driving RC cars. He was a talented photographer and an avid tech connoisseur. He is survived by daughters, Toni (Dennis) Simmons and Terri (Kyle Meadows) Lucus; granddaughters, Spencer and Sterling Lucus; step grandson, Clint (Jennifer) Simmons; step granddaughter, Elizabeth (Bill Yaeger) Simmons;  step-great grandchildren, Delilah and Dean Simmons and Lillian; brothers, Tim (Alice) Bade and David (Peggy) Bade; and sisters, Margo (Jeff) Robinson and Rochelle (Mark) Vachon. Roger was also preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Bade. Arrangements entrusted to Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
