Roger Kent Miller, 70, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday December 2, 2006 at Hospice Home. Born April 25, 1936 in Dekalb, IL to the late Fred & Nora Miller, he was a member of the 84th Army band and a attended Northern Illinois University. He was manager of customer services at General Electric. His memberships included the American Legion, Kiwanis Club & Elfun Society at GE. He is survived by his wife, Vernene S. Miller of Fort Wayne; a son, Kevin (Sara) Miller of Fort Wayne; granddaughters Nora & Mae Miller; brothers, Robert Miller of Naperville, IL and Ward Miller of Dekalb, IL; a sister, Joyce Carlson of Rockford, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Miller and a sister Bertha Conrad. Funeral services 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 917 W. Jefferson.
