Obituary

Roger E.  Warner, 67, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Born in Fort Wayne, IN he was the son of the late Bobbie and Marian Warner.  He married Jan (Johnson) Warner, she survives. Roger  graduated from North side High School and attended Ball State University. He worked for the City of Fort Wayne, IN for 43 years.  He was a free mason and a member of the Bayless Lodge number 359. He was known for his long story telling and making people belly laugh. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid IU fan.

He is survived by his wife, Jan, son, Dan Warner, daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Esslinger, grandchildren, Madelynn, Charis, Tanner, Isabella, Jaidan, McKenna, brother, Steve (Vikky) Warner, sisters, Diana Heiser and Beverly (Ben) Keller.

He is  preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Noah Warner.

Funeral service is Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with calling one hour prior, calling hours will be  Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with Masonic services at 7:00 p.m. after calling  at Covington Memorial Funeral Home,   8408 Covington Road. The Family will have a celebration of life with a time of story telling Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m-9:00 p.m. at Ceruti's Banquet and Event Center 6325 Illinois Rd. Fort Wayne. Memorial Contributions to Heartland Hospice or Trinity Methodist Church
