Dr. Ronald Paul Scheele, 91, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne,  Ronald was the only son to the late George Paul and Eleanor (Follis) Scheele. He was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School and served honorably in the United States Army. Ronald was married to the love of his life, Barbra for 60 years.  She preceded him in death in 2017. He received his doctorate of dental surgery from Indiana University. He was a dentist in the Fort Wayne area for over 30 years. Ronald was a faithful follower of Jesus and was actively involved in church ministry.  He performed voluntary dental services for the Matthew 25 Clinic and loved building houses with Habitat for Humanity.   In his younger years, he enjoyed working on his small farm, power walking, and spending time with his family.  After retirement, he and Barb enjoyed traveling and spending the winters in Arizona, as well as spoiling their grandchildren. Surviving are his children, Ronald (Julie) Scheele Jr., Laura Scheele, Stephen (Lori) Scheele and Janalynn (Tony) Miller; daughter-in-law, Tammy Scheele; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Daniel Scheele; and sister, Norma Jean Tolliver. Celebration of life service 3:00pm, Sunday, April 28, 2024 with memorial visitation two hours prior to the service at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
